Neovim Theme
A minimal neovim theme
After using Gruvbox and Catppuccin for a while, I was no longer satisfied with the theme in Neovim. Most of the other themes that I found are too blue for me. Being kind of obsessize about it, I decided to give it a go and just create one myself. I’ve created two themes so far.
MountNugget
The first one is called MountNugget, from the words “Mountain” and “Nugget”. My last name is Van den Berg, which translates to “From the mountain”, and “Nugget” comes from GoldNugget. The theme contains some goldish highlight colors, and it was based on the first version of my portfolio. The theme does not fully support all integrations and you can only configure so much, because it is mostly intended for personal use. You can try it out here.
Stilla
The second one that I made, and which I am using currently, is called Stilla, from Old Norse meaning “to calm down”. With this theme, the main focus was to have a minimal theme with fewer bells and whistles. I wanted to prevent the colors to become a christmas tree. I really like how it turned out.
